"I appreciate your interest, purchase, and thank you for your support of ORIGINAL PRECISION.  I look forward to taking care of you and your family and friends for years to come.  Same as I have always done for everyone since I started Original Precision years ago.  None of this would exist without you, for that we owe you a debt of gratitude.

 

In a nutshell all the verbiage below sums up is that we are upstanding and forthright and only want to deal with upstanding and forthright people.  Which from my years of experience in the gun parts market owning and operating Original Precision all the folks I have dealt with over the years have been outstanding to say the least.  But the Lawyers wanted us to put all that shit below to keep them happy.  At times I have to allow them some leeway because they do an outstanding job for us in their realm."

ORIGINAL PRECISION TERMS

 

General:

 

We do not sell, service, distribute. or otherwise have any dealings with controlled items which require any type of Federal licensing as in serialized items such as firearm receivers, complete firearms, NFA regulated items, assembled ammo, and or ammo components that require licensing or storage requirements to be met.

 

Even though our products are created to be easy to install without needing any specialized machinery we recognize not everyone is a “Gunsmith”. Thus the Lawyers have let us know that our official position is all products are to be installed by a qualified Gunsmith.

 

Due to the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in NYSRPA v. BRUEN causing an ever changing mass of Arms Laws Nationwide, State, Local, etc. being held Unconstitutional under Bruen there is no way for us to keep up with the thousands of constantly changing laws out there.  By placing an order with us you state that you are allowed to order from the location your order is placed from, and you are allowed to receive and possess the order at the location of the ship to address you provided for the order.  You agree to hold us harmless in all regards to the product and order.  Your purchase is being made within the State of Arizona County of Maricopa therefore any claims are required to be made in Maricopa County Arizona.  You are legally agreeing to these terms by using this site and its contents to include the purchase checkout process.  By agreeing to the terms you agree to hold us harmless and release us from any and all legal liability and legal obligations from use of this site, products, information, etc..

 

You are responsible for proper safety precautions and proper use of any and all of our products or information.  You are responsible for knowing and following the laws of your area.  Nothing on this site to include the site itself, products, information, etc. is intended for distribution, possession, use, etc. in any areas that have restrictions on any of the a fore mentioned and any others that may have been unknowingly been omitted from the list.

 

 

Mail in Orders:

 

We do have a mail in order process for those who prefer to not use a card to purchase.  Or want the additional level of privacy obtained by using the mail in order process.  It is all outlined on the mail in order form. See mail in orders page.

 

 

Payment:

 

It takes one day to a few days for your payment to process and clear depending on the type of payment and who issued it.  Once you see your payment has cleared you can expect to see your order ship within a few days.

 

All card orders are required to ship to the billing name and address for the card.  All card orders must go thru the site or via electronic invoice or pay link.  We never see or posses your card number, the card number you enter into the secure payment system is strictly between you and the card processor.  All we receive is a notice to ship and ship to address once payment is made. We do not take card orders on the phone nor do we have a card swipe capability for security and anti-fraud reasons.

 

We take fraud very seriously.  We only want to deal with honest upfront people.  Any attempted fraud via filing a deceptive charge back is irrebuttable evidence of intent of and committing of banking fraud, it's best to talk with us rather than make a false claim for a charge back regardless of the situation.  Of the very few instances of attempted charge backs over the years we have never lost a charge back dispute due to our security procedures and honest good faith process of fulfillment and shipping of orders in a timely manner to the name and billing address of the card used to place the order.  Our standard rebuttal includes evidence the order was generated externally via use of the secure site as well as that the order was shipped to and has been received at the billing address for the card, thus proving that we are the ones whom have been defrauded in regards to that particular transaction.

 

 

Shipping:

 

We only ship via U.S.P.S. Flat Rate Boxes. Most orders fit in a Small Flat Rate Box.  If your order takes the next size Flat Rate Box we pay the additional for the larger box.  Our responsibility for goods shipped ends when the package is accepted by U.S.P.S.

 

In the many years that we have shipped using U.S.P.S. Flat Rate Boxes for all of our orders thru Original Precision we have never had to make a lost mail claim for a lost package.  Which is why we use those boxes.  The U.S.P.S. gets them to their destination within a few days, and has not lost them.  U.S.P.S. automatically insures the box for $100.  If you want additional insurance for labels we create for you email us the order total before mailing it in and we will let you know how much to add based on the total.

 

In the event a shipping claim needs to be made you will be entitled to the amount paid by the shipper in connection with the claim, once the shipper has paid the claim amount.  All decisions on claims are the responsibility of the Shipper.  We do not self-insure, subsidize, provide gap insurance, pay claims ourselves prior to the shipper paying out the claim amount, nor provide any guarantee for the shipment once the shipment is in the shippers possession, the shipment is the shippers responsibility.

 

 

Fulfillment:

 

We do not log mail in orders into a fulfillment tracking system.  This is done for your privacy.  They are kept in order received.  Once your order is next in the rack it gets processed.  Depending on when the order is received it could take a few days to process and ship, or a little longer if we are assembling and packaging a new run of parts.  Depending on order volume it may take more time for your order to reach the next in rack.  We process and ship as fast as possible.  We do not process your mail in payment until your order is ready to ship.  Mail in orders are filled prior to us adding inventory to the site for click and buy card orders.  All orders final once shipped, no refunds, no returns, see below for warranty info.  Click and buy card orders do go into a fulfillment system via the site when you place the order.  You can check out as a guest.  We do not require you to set up an account in our system to order from us.  Click and buy orders ship once payment has been recived.  That is how the click and buy with card process works thru the site with the card processing and shipping label providers.

 

 

Warranty / Returns / etc:

 

We guarantee your new ORIGINAL PRECISION parts to operate and function as designed and intended when shipped.  Due to our stringent Q.C. requirements we manually bench test each unit for proper functionality as designed and intended. In the unlikely event you somehow receive a defective unit contact us so we can get the inspection and replacement process going.  You will be responsible for shipping the unit back to us via U.S.P.S. Small Flat Rate Box, an RMA number issued by us is required on the box, if deemed defective we reimburse the cost.  We do not accept random unknown boxes/packages at the P.O. Box.

 

Upon our inspection if we deem the unit defective we shall, at our option, replace the unit, or issue you a full refund for the unit and initial shipping when ordered, to include reimbursement of the cost of one U.S.P.S. Small Flat Rate Box used to send the unit in for warranty inspection.  This excludes any expedited shipping charges, which subsequently are not available using the required U.S.P.S. Small Flat Rate Boxes.

 

Defective unit means factory defects in function as designed and engineered as deemed by us, the manufacturer.  It does not mean it was installed, used, or set it up incorrectly and now it doesn't work.  Or that a gun or ammo is so far out of spec that it won't work.  Or that a gun has incompatible parts in it making the unit not work or caused damage to the unit.  Or that you tried it and didn't like it.  Or that laws in your area changed and now you have to dispose of it.  Those would be used parts thus non returnable.

 

Due to the high performance nature of this product and its ability to be used in numerous setups that can contain a vast array of parts from multiple manufacturers, all of which are beyond our control, no other warranties are expressed nor implied.  We have run thousands of rounds in multiple guns and various setups with zero functional issues and zero mechanical failures of a properly installed and used ORIGINAL PRECISION part thus we have no reason to believe under normal conditions any mechanical failure of a properly installed or used ORIGINAL PRECISION part would be experienced during its normal use thru out its service life.

 

 

Cancellations:

 

All card orders canceled after payment is received but prior to being shipped will be charged a 15% cancellation fee in addition to the shipping label cost if shipping label has already been printed. Our card processor charges us fees for each transaction, each direction, inbound payments and outbound cancellations or refunds that we cannot recover by any method if you change your mind and want to cancel your order prior to it leaving our building.   To cancel a mail in order send us an email parts@originalprecision.com or call 480.305.3236.  As long as we have not deposited the payment and shipped the order we will work with you to get everything back to you.  If payment has already been processed there will be a $10 Cashiers Check fee deducted from the amount due back.  If you had us print the label for you the shipping label cost will be decucted from the amount due back.

 

 

Privacy and your info:

 

We do not share or provide your info to anyone for any reason other than to process your order and get it shipped out.  The only info there is is what you use with the card processor, we never see your card number.  The ship to info we receive once payment is made is used to create the shipping label to get your order shipped to you.  If in the future we activate a back in stock notification system, if you choose to use it you would share your email address into it so it can alert you when more stock has been added to the site for click and buy orders.  We do not keep a file with your info in our office. 

 

 

Updating of Terms:

 

We reserve the Right to update the Terms at any time.  Without contacting you prior to any change in Terms being made.  It is your responsibility to review our Terms on your own.
